About

Founded in 1945 in Whittier, California, Zieman Manufacturing is the industry leader in towable trailers and manufactured home chassis west of the Rockies. Zieman began manufacturing teardrop trailer chassis for Kit Manufacturing in 1946 and quickly expanded into the marine trailer market. The 1960's saw expansion into the custom heavy duty equipment hauler market followed by an entry into the towable RV and Manufactured (MH) chassis market in the 1970's. In that same decade, Zieman expanded into the light equipment trailer market and quickly became the west coast industry leader. Zieman enjoyed great success and established itself as an industry leader into the next century, so much so that Lippert Components, leading supplier to the RV industry, took notice and aquired Zieman in 2004.
