Company Overview Eberhard Equipment is located in Santa Ana, California. It has 21 employees, and enjoys annual sales of approximately $6,000,000. The Company was founded in 1945 by Ken L. Eberhard. His son, Ken D. Eberhard became the owner in 1984. The Company has occupied its present two-acre location, which it owns, since 1974. In 2005 Ken Eberhard sold a portion of his ownership in the Company to four managers. Currently, Ken Eberhard owns 60% of the stock in the Company and Rosendo Alejandre and Steve Ball each own a 20% share of the Company. We are a full line Kubota dealer, a full line Terex Industrial dealer, a full line Walker dealer, a John Deere Lawn and Garden & Commercial Products dealer, a parts and service Massey Ferguson dealer, and a full line Mustang Skid Steer dealer. Eberhard Equipment carries a substantial fleet of landscaping attachments, which it rents with its tractors on a year round basis. It has a large "used parts" business with customers nation wide, and it has a very active service department with two fully equipment service trucks. The company annually distributes about one third of its profits to its own employees. It also maintains the Eberhard Foundation which supports issues of education and the homeless. The Company's management team is highly experienced and stable. The six managers total 128 years of employment at Eberhard Equipment. The Company, credit rating with Dun and Bradstreet is 3A2. In 2007 the Company was named Orange County's "Small Business Philanthropist of the Year". September 29, 2011, Ken Eberhard passed away. His legacy will live on as a giving, sharing and thoughtful person who grew his Company to what it is today. Eberhard Equipment will continue to serve our loyal customers as we always have, with our current owners, managers and sales representatives. |
